Artist Sheila Thomas is also known as Sheels on Wheels. She modified a 1960’s Mercury school bus to become her home and art studio. With her standard poodle Stroodle in tow, along with brushes, paint, and an easel strapped on her back, she heads into the forest to channel Emily Carr. On a good day she succeeds; on a bad day she only channels the monkey Woo.
